The Bellwether

In 2016, while working as a visual merchandiser, I started The Bellwether - a blog and Instagram account. The Bellwether fostered my creativity and documented my personal explorations of San Diego, outside of work. After spending five years in Seattle, WA, my hometown of San Diego felt entirely new to me. At the same time, the city was changing dramatically, with creatives shaping the landscape and introducing new brands and businesses.

I have always loved finding new (or new to me) restaurants, coffee shops, stores and locales in any city. I created The Bellwether as a resource for others, and as a platform to support small businesses. While I no longer share to The Bellwether’s blog, I’ll be repopulating some of its content here - as examples of my work and to continue the process of sharing some San Diego favorites.
